Yoteslayer77 and me met up again this morning. We had an interesting hunt. I'm going to try and throw a little video together and have Chase post it later tonight.

Just couldn't seal the deal! Exactly. We're gonna try it again next week. Hopefully Mike won't miss and that camera guy will do a better job.

i went yesterday and saw one coyote about 600 yards away. wayyy to far for a 22 to kill him at.

any distance is too far for a .22LR on coyote in my opinion

Well I did kill one stone dead with a .22 this year. I was rabbit hunting and jumped one he was probably 40 yds. going away and succomed to a head shot from my ruger 10.22. But if I were hunting for coyotes it would be a .243 or .22/250 although I have seen a few drop from a 30.06.
Cool video Troy. I have no shortage of coyotes over my way if you want a late season hunt, let me know. The more guns the bette, I called in three one morning.

I saw on The Outdoor Channel, i think the show was American Rifleman, and they tested out the .22LR CCI Velocitors, there 40 grain 1435 fps hypervelocity rounds, on ballistics gel, and they can take down coyotes. We actually picked a couple boxes of them at the last Indy 1500 gun show but i haven't tested them out yet.
