Well after 20 years shooting the same Hoyt bow, I ordered a new Hoyt this weekend. The guy laughed at my old Hoyt when I carried it in. It was the top of the line in 1990. Cost me all of $180 to order it. Today I can't put new strings and cables on it for that. I ordered a Katera XL with Cam and 1/2. Can't wait to shoot it. Great shop Tall Tines Archery south of Danville IL.

The bow is unbelievable. I probably jumped 7 levels of techology going from the top of the line in 1990 to this one in 2009. Shoots darts, no noise other than target contact. I have it set at 55lbs. and it holds at around 12lbs. The shop I bought it at is top notch, Tall Tines Archery in Georgetown, Il.. He was a Team Hoyt shooter and set it up perfect. I allready shot broadheads and ready for the urban zone season to open. If I can figure it out I'll post a picture of it.

Sounds like a good one! Glad you're happy with it. Chase is wanting a new Hoyt. I'd like for him to get one more season out of his pse, then we may have to make a roadtrip over to Illinois.
