I was wondering if its possible to kill a coyote with an air rifle?
I have a remington airmaster 77
I know it can kill squirrels and rabbits, but idk if it would put down a fox or coyote?

they have em that will do it, but they will have to be in your lap. A shotgun with the proper load and choke will get you out farther if you don't have a rifle. I killed plenty when I was younger with a .22LR the shot just had to be under 70 yards and aim for the heart and track em a little ways.

I wouldn't even try it. odds are you wouldnt kill it and if it was a mortal wound, its gonna run a far distance before dying. its best just to use an appropriate caliber even if a weaker one might work. a hunter always wants a fast clean kill.
