Got permission to hunt private property on Conner Prairie near fishers. Talked to the staff that and they told me they were all over the place. Went out all day yesterday and walked about 3 miles with no luck. Went out this afternoon and called this coyote in to about 50 yards in the deep woods. Dropped him dead with my Remington 700 22-250. This was my first real coyote hunt and wont be my last. Didn't get to weigh him but I think he is a big coyote and the staff there says he is one of the smaller ones they see. They say there is a black one running around. will go back out next week. Attachments:

The 700 is great. Smoth action and very crisp trigger pull. The only thing I would change is the wieght, its a little heavy. I might look at the r15 next year cause its alot lighter
