I hate you Troy... J/k CONGRATS on finding some though. I spent about three hours tromping around clay county on Monday, only to find a tick in my hair. I'm hoping they'll pick up soon, or its not going to be much of a mushroom festival, or season! It's looking like the only ones I'LL be able to find this year, are probably the ones being sold by the side of the road...

That time of the year is fast approaching, and with just a few weeks away (give or take per your location), I was wondering what some of you guys' prediction for the harvest this year are. I dont think we're looking at "DROUGHT" conditions again this year(hopefully ), and looking at the extended forcast, to me, conditions look to be, so far, Favorable. What are some of your guys' thoughts? Any side wagers? Maybe a "SHROOM of the Year" competition? Or a "BEST HAUL" competition? Just some thoughts I had...

WOW! That E.W. gets HUGE! It was over the top of his Tractor! I'd say, if you were REALLY set on putting in a screen, THATS the way to go. Who knows, maybe you have a member on here who has access to some seed, and you can barter your way into some. If you DID plant it, you would HAVE to set up a LIVE feed Trail cam though, you know, just to keep an eye on when their moving...

anybody know how much 2,000 lbs of lime would cost lol Depends. Are YOU planning on spreading it, or someone ELSE spread it? If YOU do, you can probably get a better deal on it. Prices are also diffrent at diffrent locations. I think Co-Op was around $40-$60 a ton last time i looked, but that was a few years ago. I would call your local Co-Op and get a quote.
