all i'm saying is that the refs calls may have not helped the vikings, but turning the ball over 5 times is what lost them the game. its hard to win in the nfl against a great team when you turn the ball over 5 times. Favre was getting beat up the whole game too. in the end, the Saints won and deserved it.

the vikings had plenty of chances in that game and they failed at all of them. was it the refs that turned the ball over 5 times? was it the refs who made farve throw that last interception? no. it was the vikings not getting things done.

THe thing with the Saints is that they can put up huge numbers fast and they have the running game to dominate time of possession after that. you are right though, a come from behind victory is very unlikely for the saints. should actually be a great game to watch.

Too many offensive weapons and an extremely underrated defense. were you talking about the Siants or Colts. If one of those teams has too many offensive weapons, it is the Saints. They have at least 4 recievers who are major threats, their running game can be dominant, and their defense is also underrated. The Colts might have an ok defense, but they don't have enough good DBs to cover all of the Saints weapons. I also think that the Saints want it a lot more than the Colts.

I'm rooting for the Saints because it is their first super bowl appearance ever. I know what its like to have a hometown team that has never been to the Super Bowl. GO Saints! (and Browns)

even with the knot, there was nothing to snag it on. it was a concrete overhang. even if it did snag something, there is no way he trusted his life to that. i don't care how "tough" he is. my real question is why did he even have to climb that tower? if you ask me, it was just for shock value.

thanks for the compliment Anthony. I started the thread and it is the best one that I have started so far. I saw the last few minutes of Man vs. Wild last night while waiting for the next show to start. He was somewhere in Big Sky Country and came up to a railroad bridge that was on towers about 200 feet high. He decided the best thing to do was to free climb the towers. There is no way he did that without somesort of safety equipment. At the top, he had to get over an overhang and all he did was swing a chain over it which somehow hooked onto something. This was one of the fakest things I have ever seen on his show. WIthout his team of cameramen, Grylls would die in like 20 minutes.
