Oh yes, very tasty. This pond is in danger of being overrun with stunted bluegill. They need thinned out.

Nice stringer. I haven't fished over there at Greene-Sullivan in years, but I know several of those lakes have some monster redear.

I was fishing at a farm pond in southern Indiana yesterday, originally planning to catch some bass. After a couple of hours with no bites, I decided to try some bluegill fishing with redworms and beemoth. They wouldn't even look at the beemoth but when I tried redworms they bit as soon as the bait hit the water. I have no doubt I could have caught 50 of them if I hadn't quit due to getting a sunburn/windburn combination.

I caught a nice bunch of bass on topwater on my last trip, but nothing else was biting except mosquitoes. The bass were hitting Pop-R type lures, but a few were hitting minnow plugs.

I was at Starve Hollow last week and I found out that as of this week the waterfront sites are going to $32! I can remember when you could camp for a week at that price.

The lake is about 150 acres or so and parts of the lake are more of a swamp, especially the north end, so it's a trolling motor lake. The DNR dredged it in the last few years because parts of the lake had completely filled in with mud. You can camp right on the waterfront and they rent rowboats there.

I finally had time to get out and do some fishing over the weekend. Bluegills at Starve Hollow are biting on redworms. I also can say I got to put my extreme cold weather sleeping bag to good use last night. I did better than I expected considering the cold front and the super muddy water. I've fished this lake for years and I've never seen the water any muddier than it is right now. Tight lines.

Hello, I'm a new member, originally from Indiana and currently moving back to Indiana in about two weeks. I fish for anything that will bite, mostly in southern Indiana.
