Thanks!
She had some pull. It took about 5 minutes to net her. As soon as she was in the net, the lure came out of her mouth. It's a moment I will always remember.

Would hate to see anything bad happen while you're fishing.

Thanks Greendog. I see your on both this and IndianaAngler too.
Since I can't seem to catch a musky at Bass Lake, thought I'd try something else. Although we did catch a 20 inch musky last trip. Nice to see one there.

Thinking of heading to Lake Michigan in the next few weeks. I have a 16.5 Lund Angler, with a 90 horse motor. Is this big enough to put on the lake safely? Do you know of a good place to launch?
Also looking for any information on depths to fish, and lures / bait to use. I do have a few trolling rods and holders, but no down riggers.
Will this get me started?
Any information would be appreciated.

That would look good on the side of the boat! Would also identify other members if they see you on the water.

Nothing yesterday. Got there about 2:00 PM and off the water about 5:30. Wind was out of the NW and cold. Wind was making it a challenge to control the boat. We lost a couple of baits to the trees. There was one other boat out, don't know if they had any luck, or what they were fishing for.
One of these days, we'll catch one.

Thanks for the picture showing the difference between male and female. I never knew how to tell them apart.
Heading to Bass Lake this afternoon! I'll let you know how it goes!
