I need to get one of those to retrieve a musky lure I snapped off in Barbee. I lost a Musky Kombat Sidewinder that I had just purchased. I have a waypoint set on my fish finder where it landed in the water. I watched it sink slowly into the depths.

Well not much on here this spring about musky fishing. I've caught a few on Bass, one on Webster, and on on Vermilion. Anyone else doing any good?

That's crazy stuff. I'll keep him and your family in my prayers. I live in Indy too so if there is anything I can to to help, let me know.

I was on Bass yesterday, October 19. Water temp was 60 - 63 degrees. The lake was pretty busy with a bass tournament and a few other boats. Didn't boat any fish, but I had one on that wrapped itself around a stick. Almost got it in the net but it unhooked itself. Had another hit a bait about 25 feet from the boat, then follow my figure 8 three times around. It bit at my bait twice but still didn't eat it. I guess I need to do a larger figure 8. Had another come out from under my boat as I began my figure 8, but once again, didn't hook up.
I'll be back!

I was there on the 14th. The water hit 84 degrees while I was there. Lots of boats fishing for musky. Two dead musky floating near the dock by the ramp. When the water get back into the 70s, it will be safer to fish for them.

We made it to Shackamack on Saturday and Sunday. There were 25 fishing the same cove we were. Our party of six caught 110 bluegill on Saturday and 50 on Sunday morning.
