Nice speck! Were you casting the jig or was it under a bobber?

Thanks, Chase. Does anyone know of anybody that has ever had any kind of Sea Eagle inflatable?

I certainly have the same concern, Hilly. Transport and storage would be easier, but set up each time you use it not so much.

Somebody tell me I am crazy, but I am starting to look at the Sea Eagle 285fpb as an alternative to getting a kayak. Hilly, Opochtli, and Goosepond have given me many great options on several kayaks. Maybe I have been looking too long and should just pull the trigger on something.

What a great site to browse through, thanks! That Tarpon 100 City Angler is a heck of a package with all the accessories that are included!!! I wish the flush mount rod holders were already installed.

Thanks, Patrick. I have always liked the seat aspect of the Ascend. It by far seems to be the best in that price range of yak. I have also looked into some of the seat options that can be added to the other models. I don't really know how much of a hassle it would be to do the add on seats.
When I saw the pictures of Troy's, quite awhile ago, that is when I started getting really interested in getting one myself. His is a real beauty for sure!

Good to see ya again Pat. I had one of "those" days where I couldn't seem to hook a single fish that bit my bait LOL. Still had fun and it felt good to get out. Can't wait for things to heat up more! natahka72 if you're looking for a 10ft, maybe consider the Heritage Angler 10, that seems to be the best reasonably priced option available in a 10ft sit-on-top. I think I'll be getting one myself in the next couple weeks. Just make sure you get a better seat... that seems to be the only issue with it. Thank you for your input!!! I will check out the Heritage. I was also looking at the Lifetime Muskie 10. Any knowledge of this one???

Just saying, get rid of the tackle and the total weight goes down a little. ;-)

I saw the same reviews on the 10, but usually only the disappointed make reviews, so I wasn't sure. Since I have the small truck, I was really interested in the 10. Would love to meet up at Lake X or any place else to try yours. The 12 is only $50 dollars more from what I see. Are you sure you are not counting the cooler of beer in with the tackle weight??

I see you have the 12 ft. Ascend, right? Do you think the 10 ft. would work for me? I know I really would need to sit in it to find out, but still would be interested in your input.
Nice little pile of big gills!!!
