Those baits do look sweet. Nothing like creating your own shad school.lol. I wander if they could be scaled down to use for crappie, or white bass. It might just work.

I am an avid shroomer, but by no means a pro at it. I found around a 125 shrooms last year all on public land around North Webster, In. My question is last year was a banner shroom year around me in the Warsaw are, but this year we have had very very little snow fall, so what are your thoughts on how this will affect the up coming shroomin season? Thanks guys for the responses in advance, take care, Bubba.

Yea it will have an effect for me as well. Kind of sad really but every thing has gone up except for our pay checks. It is unfair that the cost of " getting there" out weighs the fun the family will have we " do get there". I do a lot more fishing in the winter but I know I had to limit my running around and fishing last summer because I over spent on my fuel budget the previous winter, lol. Here is an example of how this has already impacted me. I am very interested in becoming a student in the game of targeting walleye, that being said I had great interest and intentions of going to Brookville for the Indianawalleye.com outing. Camping for the weekend and bait and tips to the boat owner who had me on board and gas, I can book a One day charter on lake Erie for much less money, so the outing is a no go for me.

I would really like to go out on an Erie walleye charter, so if any body needs a guy or even Two to round out a crew please keep me in mind. I would only be able to go on weekends, thanks for the consideration. I can be reached here or by phone 1-260-609-5754. I also would not be opposed to creating a crew for a charter if there was interest. I have not spoke to nor picked a charter or date for the trip, just gauging interest. Most boats need Four to Six guys so it is not a lot to get One of these booked so if anyone has some interest in a walleye charter please get a hold of me. Thanks in advance, Take Care, Bubba.

This has been a lot of fun to read and a little stroll down memory lane for me. As from 1998 to 2001 me and all my drinkin buddies would make a trip to Indy and hotel it for the weekend and watch Friday and Saturday night State High School wrestling matches, and then Sunday the hangover cure was the Indy sport show. Loved making that little weekend get a way, too bad for wives and reality, lmao . Good to hear it is still going strong. Back then they had an all Canada/Minnesota guide and lodge area set up in what I believe was the Pepsi coliseum, that was a neat area to see and dream about a nice trip that never has yet happened, lol, do they still do that? Back then tackle town was pretty darn big, in those days it was also a lot of cool freebies, any thing from tobacco to can coozies, pens, jigheads, and many other nice things, is that still the case or is it a thing of the past with the economy and all? Good read Spainy, I enjoyed it a lot.
