Just an update on the "Biggest Crappie" contest. Our 2lb 13oz got beat out by a 3lb 1oz that was caught yesterday, on the last day. We did get 2nd place, and collected $62.50. Oh well, maybe this month! Can't wait to see that 3 pounder on your wall.

How'd the cart do in the snow? The fourwheelers wouldn't hardly go the snow was so deep. We had a blast with the golfcart in the 4" we had on Tuesday, but I could barely get it out of the garage yesterday. We had a good 10" total. We were able to pull the kids up and down our road, though.

This crappie weighed 2lb&13oz and is leading the contest right now. It was caught in Lake Dexter. Is this one going on the wall, or are you guys still holding out for a 3 pounder?

Now it's time to put the cam on the feeder! I'm going to, but I'd like to get a good picture of the fox. I moved it a little and set the date and time. Going to check it here in a little bit.

There's about 7-8 inches of ice, but with temps pushing 50 today and tomorrow, it might be a little chancey getting on this weekend. I can't believe there's that much more ice at Shakamak than there is on the strip pit.

That looks pretty cool. Sure don't see why it wouldn't work. I'd be interested in one. Does he have a website or anything to order from? He's working on a website, but I don't believe it's up and ready just yet. As soon as it is, I'll post a link to it.

is the base that has corn in it is made of wood? Yeah, Tyler, we made the base out of some scrap 1X4's and 1/4" plywood I had laying around. It slopes down at the front, so we drilled a few holes to allow any water to run out. On a seperate note, what kind of camera do you use to make your videos? I'm looking to buy one in the not too distant future and wanted some opinions on what kind to get.

Me and a buddy got together the other night and built a deer feeder to put out behind the house. He had been building biodegradeable bird feeders out of recycled cardboard carpet tubes, and I had the idea to expand his line to deer feeders. It holds about 25# of corn/molasses mix. Hopefully (if the squirrels don't eat all the corn) I'll have some deer pix to share soon. By the way, here's a picture of the bird feeder he makes. If anyone is interested in one finished or as a kit, let me know and I'll get you his contact info.
