Thanks, Patrick. I have always liked the seat aspect of the Ascend. It by far seems to be the best in that price range of yak. I have also looked into some of the seat options that can be added to the other models. I don't really know how much of a hassle it would be to do the add on seats. When I saw the pictures of Troy's, quite awhile ago, that is when I started getting really interested in getting one myself. His is a real beauty for sure! Check this one out Jerry. It looks like it has all the bells and whistles. I've heard good things about the Pescador model. www.perceptionkayaks.com/us/products/pescador-pro-100

What a great site to browse through, thanks! That Tarpon 100 City Angler is a heck of a package with all the accessories that are included!!! I wish the flush mount rod holders were already installed.

If you decide to buy from there, call them and see if they might give you a bit of a deal. They post a lot of kayak packages on eBay as well.

Hey buddy, on that yak of yours just curious where you tied your fish basket onto? I just tie the rope onto my seat frame. If I'm paddling a longer distance and not stopping to fish I'll pick the basket up and throw it in the back. Also, if I'm about to beach I'll just throw it in the back.
