Went out to Shakamak yesterday and met up with my buddy, "Kipper Jim", "hilly77p", my brother Monty, and Chase even showed up after he got done with classes in the evening. I got there first and started out in the middle of the lake, but the wind was starting to whip up pretty good. I was marking fish at 9' in 15fow, but they weren't taking. When Jim and Patrick got there, we moved to a neck out of the wind. Supposedly, this was only the second time that hilly77p had been ice fishing. I'm not sure that I'm buying that. He proceeded to out fish us for the next couple hours including a first catch that was a whopper gill. I think he's a natural born ice fisherman! Monty showed up and went farther down the neck and caught a couple. Patrick had to be going in the evening, so I then moved to his holes and caught a couple. Poor Jim had one bite all evening and missed it. He left right when Chase got there and then the bite picked up a little bit and we actually eked out a small mess. I ended up catching a couple of those big bull gills out of hilly77p's hole! The fishing has been tough this winter, but I've got to fish with quite a few guys that I had never fished with before and I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

Another outstanding video. I enjoy the dynamic showing the many hats of Greenedog...fisherman, cameraman, friend, brother and caring father.
