Started out this morning with William Bennett on Webster. for some muskie we used G&G Muskie inlines and spinnerbaits and a variety of other baits, no takers. But I learned allot had a great time Bill is great company and knows his stuff and just plain loves to fish. I loved the experience and I will be back there for another round this fall. It meant allot to me that bill spoke highly of my muskie baits. I was in rico's area so I payed him a visit. Was great seeing and fishing with my good friend rico which he handed it to me with the only fish a nice gill he lost another nice one. I will be getting up there to fish some more soon when we have more time. On my way home I had to go through Rochester and i wanted ice cream so I stopped there at the dairy queen. Those of you that know the area know that there is a park right beside it that Lake Manitou drains into a creek and there is a backwater pond area at that park. Anyway I got my ice cream and noticed some big explosions in the water. I dropped my ice cream got my baitcaster out with my favorite G&G spinnerbait tied on and burned the bait a near the surface and bam 25" northern pike! Awesome explosion onto the bait and got a good fight out of him. After I released the fish I realized I didnt have a steel leader on kinda got lucky. The tube at webster. Bill at the wheel, He has a awesome boat loved it! rico with his nice gill, nice hat too! here is my pike! Thanks guys for getting me out today my friends!
