From Spurlin's Bass & Bucks;
Fishing report for the Greene Sullivan State Forest area.
The blue gills are coming up to nest in the area pits. There was a 1lb 6 oz blue gill caught early this week and I just saw a picture of a 9 inch long blue gill and 9 ½ inch long red ear so the big ones are moving in. I caught a few bass on Thursday they were full of eggs but no sigh that they nesting on the pit I was fishing but should not be to much longer. The weather for the weekend is high in the 60’s and lows in the high 50’s with a 40% chance of sun. (They said it would be raining all day today (Friday) and they missed that one also. Stop by the store we have a full line of live baits. The White river is at 8.9 feet at Newberry (flood is 13 ft) and the Wabash in Terre Haute is at 19.2 feet (flood is at 14 ft)

I wish they'd do that more often.

I wish they'd do that more often. Me too. I think it would be good for their business.
