So after all the snow melted and the rain we got Sullivan Lake is back to what it was before the drought hit last year...and slightly higher to boot. I am disappointed that no effort was made to dredge portions of the lake while they had a good opportunity to do so but oh well. I'm guessing other lakes are returning to or exceeding their normal levels. How are the others looking?

White river here in Martinsville is cold, muddy, and high. Still rising here.

The rising water washed out all my traps, except one, which made a very difficult beaver catch.

Cecil Harden lake/Raccoon lake is finally at what should have been summer pool. High for winter but we have water again. Hoping for normal conditions this year. Since there wasn't any water during the summer, the north part has all kinds of vegetation on the bottom. Should make for some dynamite fishing this year.

I'd guesstimate our pond went up 6-8 inches with all the rain and snow. Still has a long way to go. Dad put that stake out there with the top at the same level as the high water mark on the dock pilings.

Bass seemed to be about back to normal yesterday but it was hard to tell exactly because it was white capping the whole time. Never said I was smart!!!!!!

Monroe had quite a chop to it when I drove past today. I figured it might be a good day to chase some walleye.

I know Troy, I was always told a bad day fishing is better then a good day working so I took the last half of Thursday off and gave it the old college try. You can't catch them from the couch and with this cold air coming in it might be a while before I can get back down.

Looks like it went up another 6 inches or so with these latest storms.. We'll be fishing the "expansion area" this spring!
