Anyone else bullhead fish?
My grandparents have a camp on a lake way up in Northern New York, a very short distance from Canada.
I think in one weekend our highest we caught was ~300. Pretty tasty, too!

We catch a few while channel catfishing once in a while. We have a local state park with a lake that if you fish on the bottom you catch bullheads and if fish your bait suspended you catch channels.

I fish for bullheads. I don't eat much of anything I catch, with an occasional mess of crappie. The bullheads I catch, and use for flathead bait. I don't know what it is about bullheads that really turn those big catfish on, but it's like sticking a piece of candy in front of a baby. They just cannot resist them !!

I hate those things!!
Always swallowing your bait when you're fishing for channels.

When im bored and have nothing to do i fish for them.. i like catching them but my little vrothers and sister like eating them!! i dont care for them i prefer them on a 7/0 hook and a 6 oz. no-roll at about 9:30 at night..to catch them i use a medium action rod a CHEAP baitcast reel and i bobber with a snap swivele and a size 1 pre-snelled hook. Night crawlers is the best bait..

Not many people know this, bullheads (3-6 inchers) are AWESOME flathead bait.
