HAs anyone heard of//made bottlecap lures??? I was bored so i decided to make one and i went to the pond to try it and geuss what? IT WORKED!! They are super easy to make, you just need a bottle cap, split rings, a treble hook, a small swivel, some bb's, pliers and a drill+small drill bit or a nail punch. I might make a video of how i made mine..theres vids on youtube but the one i made will actually spin and flash in the water when you reel it in.. I caught 5 bass on it in about 20 minutes. and had a bass chase it and hit it 3 times.. Im goin to walmart to get some more treble hooks and split rings and ill probly be making a whole bunch of em, lol

Never heard of a bottle cap lure ,but I have seen somebody do something similar to a metal key. As you could imagine it was used like a spoon.

Chase was into making those one summer 6 or 7 years ago. On one trip to Cataract that year the only fish caught was a crappie on a Coors Light bottle cap!

the only fish caught was a crappie on a Coors Light bottle cap! Does that mean crappie prefer Coors Light? What would I catch on a Sam Adams bottle cap?

I tell ya what, I got to try a lot of new beers that summer just so Chase could have a good variety of bottle caps.
