Left the truck for the woods at 6:30am yesterday, got back to the truck at 6:30pm. 11+ hours in a climber with does in sight most of the day, but didn't see the first set of horns. As usual, once the slugs start flyin', the bucks go nocturnal. Sitting in the middle of 10 does just before dark, but boyfriends stayed hidden.

That's odd. Where do you hunt at? I went last night in Staunton and seen 4 bucks, 3 little guys and a 10pntr. I didn't want to shoot the little ones cuz I've seen this big one driving by the property and I didn't shoot the 10 cuz I didn't look behind me b4 I got down out of the stand. I seen him 20 yards out as I was halfway down the buddy stand. Of course no shot. Also seen a heavy 8 chasing does at 930 at work yesterday.

I was hunting north of Graysville. Woods is absolutely loaded with scrapes and rubs. Glad someone is still seeing bucks.

Heck, I'd be happy just to see that many does.

I have been hunting just east of Graysville off of 154 and things have been spotty at best. I saw some does and a fork buck on opening day, but the next couple of days when I saw the does they were well out of range. There is an area behind the guy's pond dam that has probably two dozen rubs. I put the trail cam there hoping I could see who was in the area and when.
