Had a great time in the morel woods this morning. The first patch I hit was on fire! I was constantly picking. I came across a salamander while reaching down to pick up a shroom. Another pick from the first patch. Triple! A couple from the last patch Total count 58

Nice find Chase..... I went across the road from my parents place and found a good mess, I think the total count was 18. Not a lot but I haven't found a mushroom in that woods in 5+ years so I was pretty happy. Gonna be searching hard tomorrow.

I went back today to the same spot and found 8 more that seem to have come up overnight. I know one of em was right next to where you could see I picked one yesterday. I am gonna head up to Parke county later this week and hopefully they are coming up good there. Tonight I believe we are Fairbanks bound.
