A couple weeks ago when I was fishing I saw all of these buzzards. There were more that I didn't get in the picture.

thats more buzzards than I have ever seen at once. They are a pretty popular bird in my area. There is a local legend about this huge hunt that occurred at a park reservation about 10 miles from where I live. It happened in the 1800s and the legend goes that the settlers got tired of all the bears and wolves killing livestock, so hundreds of hunters circled the whole area and just drove all the animals into the center. It is said that so many animals were killed that the buzzards came back every year at the same time looking for the kill. There is even a day called Buzzard Day here where there is a big festival and everything. Its a pretty cool story.
