I was just flipping back and forth from bull riding, to the truck race , to the outdoor channel when I took a trip down memory lane to the days of 2, 10, 38 and sometimes 4. Back when parents made the youngest child, which happened to be me, get up and change the channel which sometimes required the use of needle nose pliers. You young bucks are pampered

I hate when i lose the remote, which my family does alot, and i have to use the stupid box.

needle nose pliers were known as channel changers back then! everyone eventually used some to work the TV. lol

Haha! So true...... I think the biggest difference from then and now is the internet. If a kid wants to learn about practically anything now he can just google it and there it is. I would have loved to have had that kind of access when I was growing up.

I would have loved to have had that kind of access when I was growing up. you guys did have that kind of access...all you had to do was go back in the cave, and read your stone tablets and cave art.

I hate to admit but I do remember those days and don't be sitting in dad's chair either. That's funny because,now days I'll spend 20 minutes looking for the remote control rather than just changing the channel at the t.v. that would only take 5 minutes.
