yes!! thats what i thought they were. They are actually a "SURVIVAL" item. Cheaper Than Dirt sells them for i think $29 for a dozen of them. I have been planning to get some, and use em as limb lines on the river for cats. The ones Cheaper than Dirt sells, come with 60 # line!!. Cabela's has them for $8.99 for 3 or $24.99 for a dozen with 60lb test. Chase and me were talking about getting some to set out on the river when we go sandbar fishing; we could set them on the way up the river and check them on the way back.

yea, i think they would do good on the eel. just find a GOOD STRONG limb, and prob use a steel leader in case of any gar that might be around.

ya last year went to cover brige and yard sale on the way up there and a older guy had a few of them for sale $2,50,cent and had about 12 of them i knew i should have bought me a few but afther buying a old reel lures and hats and house wear stuff i fig id spent a bunch of $$ there so i did not get them + i was thinking hunting was coimg any ways,but ill be sure to get me a few this year
