Well, Since were ALREADY on the subject, I guess i can go ahead and show off my new secret weapons. I was GONNA wait till we atleast got some cold weather to show these, but here they are. I picked these Jigs up off a site a month or two ago. They are pretty nice, allthough my camera does them no justice. I will go ahead and throw the link in here for those of you guys who are interested. The site is www.jamminjigs.com/ I bought one of the 40 PIECE GRAB BAGS, from the Closeout Section. Think i paid like $12 for them!!! And I Believe I ACTUALLY got like 43 or some odd pieces! These Jigs are VERY NICE!! Many of them Also Glow VERY BRIGHT! these are not "uncle bobs PAPER CLIPS AND DUCT TAPE" jigs. If you guys got a few bucks to spare, BUY SOME!! What's the worst that can happen? You Catch MORE fish?? Another tip: Need somewhere to neatly and orderly keep your jigs? Buy a FLY BOX! they work GREAT! lol! We NEVER said we KNOW WHAT WERE DOING!!! We just LOVE DOING IT!!!  I'm planning on purchasing a flasher to ice fish with this year for the first time, so I probably won't be able to catch a darn thing this winter.  Whats a flasher?? Sonar?? I have never used them, but would LOVE to try some time. |

Vinny, Terre Haute GM carries ice gear all year. Once the hard water hits, Get ahold of me, and we will get out and try for a few. I would be careful about going at your Bass spot. Some Complexes and private lakes will allow fishing in the summer no problem, but dont want to allow ice fishing for fear of someone falling through. Let me know if you need a place.

Well, I'm glad to hear you guys are enjoyin all that deer chili. SOMEONE left the freezer door open here, and I ended up loosing all the meat in the freezer  ...yes that includes what meat i got from my Double Does!! just about ready to say screw it, and move to the city....... |

Looking good anthony! The only mead I've ever had was by Oliver Winery over in Bloomington and I really didn't care for it. It was ok, just seemed to have a "mediancy" taste to me.  It was very pretty and so was the bottle........  I wouldn't be above trying a bottle from the "Eel River Winery" though! WOW TROY!! You just made me grin from EAR TO EAR with that last comment. Would you mind if i used that? I will DEFFINATELY Send some your way. It is funny you should say that, I too have had the OLIVER Mead, and it is the only one around HERE i can find. Also, In its earlier life, MEAD was also used as a means to give medicine, and also believed to be medicine itself. there are SEVERAL varieties and recipies for mead so dont let one bad apple sour you. check out the wiki page for more info. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mead |
