Welcome! My favorite way to fix catfish is: cut in strips, mix cornmeal, flour, cajun seasoning, salt & pepper and deep fry. Oh, I usually dip in an egg wash or buttermilk before putting in the flour mixture. Enjoy!

I completely agree with crappie lady. I used to live in vegas, and i remember hearing a conservation officer say one time, that while some guys were diving in the lake to do scheduled maintenance on the dam, they said they saw catfish the size of volkswaggons!!! granted they were most likely over exagerating a little, but i believe them. you NEVER know what you'll find in Lake Mead.

in the 80s some divers said the same thing about the cats over in lost river. i dont think they were nearly that big cause in most of the river of ther ethe sides are so shallow u can see right into it.theyd have to swim in a strait line wherever they went
