After spending more time on stand this year than any year I remember, and passing up several small and medium size bucks I finally had a good one come by . I shot a nine pointer at 4:30 today . TC Omega .50 cal @ 40yds. My sister-in-law took some pictures and she is trying to email them to me. Chase or Troy may have to help me get a picture on here. Not my strong suit .

Congrats, Jon! Sam and I spent about 13 hours in a stand over the weekend and didn't see the first deer. Gotta give Sam a lot of credit for hanging in there, but his frustration's setting in. Maybe next weekend will be different.

That's a great one Jon! Congrats again. Are you gonna have it mounted? Yeah. Willy and I took him to Brian Gilham @ G2 Taxidermy in Dugger IN last night. Brian and I go way back, he caped him for us and then we started processing. You guys should check Brians place out sometime. He has a cool display room and some great bucks to mount this year. He showed me one that was a main frame 12 with with split G2's and G3's on both sides. The G2 tines are about 12" and the split is probably half way up forming a perfect Y. Same is true for the G3's but slightly shorter. Maybe 10". It went over 180". He also has last years shed from the same deer.

Brian did the shoulder mount on my buck from last year. I got it back a lot sooner than I expected too. Dropped it off a couple days before gun season started and had it back in February.
