i cant believe no one has mentioned the greatest band ever...ACDC thats because when you have heard one AC/DC song you have heard them ALL!! The ZBB is pretty amazing stuff, we shall see if the next cd is anything near as good as the debut.

OK boys and girls, prepared to be WOWED. If any of you are musicians or aspiring musicians...pay close attention and prepared to be schooled by some of the very best in the business.
Remember, this is done LIVE!!
Around 4 minutes in to they REALLY get to kicking!

I was watching the video and booey walks by and looks over my shoulder and say's "Oh, that's Dream Theater, they're on Guitar Hero."

Hows this for dating myself... I saw the Theater in '91 (i just turned 21) here @ Pieres for their 2nd album (and best IMHO) Images and Words, for $5, my oldest son was 1 y/o.... After listening to my eldest son give my crap for years and years about my groups (Dream Theater, Queensryche, Megadeth etc etc) i took him too the Gigantour in '08 (i believe, mighta been 09) Midway thru the Theater set, i glance over at my boy and his mouth is simply hanging open. He was completely in awe. Needless to say, i have NEVER heard bad word out of his mouth about my musical tastes ever since....when on road trips to N. MI he even requests i dial up Theater, Queensryche, Anthrax, Megadeth on the MP3 player Yeah, I was jamming some Rush one night and my youngest comes out and says "Thats Rush." I was impressed until i asked "Howd you know that?!?" he says "Oh, its on Guitar hero." I guess that video game is good for something...at least its introduciing a musically deprived generation to great tuneage!

Heres a couple i shot at the afore mentioned Pieres.
I first saw this group live in 1986 when they opened for Def Lepard. They cleaned the stage up. Even tho Def Lep had an AWSOME light show and put on a pretty dern good performance. Teslas pure, raw energy put Def Lep to shame! I have seen them some 17 times since then. Including once in 1989 at Wendler arena in Saginaw MI. I then hopped in my Cougar and flew down here and took my then girlfriend (now wife) to the memorial coliseum here in the fort the next night.
Hope y'all enjoy!!
