Gotta new kayak review video coming soon! The video has been ready for a while but our internet has been out for almost a week. Good ol' Frontier.

Still no internet. Got the ol' "5 to 7 days" again yesterday. Turns out the Owen County road crew cut the line in 3 places and Frontier has been waiting on permits from the county so they can dig the road back up and fix the lines. The district manager from Frontier said Owen County is the worst in the state to deal with. I believe that.

Someone has damaged the lines and everyone on our road is out of internet.

What do you guys have out in the sticks that isn't HughesNet? That's what my folks got when they moved to my grandma's house and it is pretty terrible. You can barely watch a video on YouTube for all the buffering.

It's way better than the satellite internet when it's working. We now even have Netflix! Lol Ours just came back on a few minutes ago so hopefully I can get my video uploaded tonight.

HughesNet is a bunch better now, believe it or not. I'm in an internet desert a half mile from Greenwood, just because no one will run a line down my road and I cant hit the local microwave antenna. I can't rely on Verizon for hot spot constantly with my home business. Much better than when I had them 20 years ago. Video streams fine, just that 3 second latency to bounce of the satellite. Speeds are good.

I have done a speed test when hooked up to their router and it is usually less than 20 mbps download.

Maybe dumb down the hd settings on the vids or upgrade equipment. They will usually work with you.

I think they are just in the land of crappy internet at this point...and HughesNet roped them in on a two-year contract.
