Snapped this pic of a buck in our yard the other day. There was actually another smaller buck about an hour later, but no picture of him. I think Chase got a shot of him on his trail cam, though. This guy just strolled across the yard and hit the salt block in the middle of the afternoon. We've been seeing a lot of deer around here lately.

Here's the pic of the little guy. The stump you see in the picture above is the same one as the trailcam pic.

some good herd managment over a couple seasons could yield some bigger bucks for you guys in the future.

Cool pics guys! We're seeing a lot more does than bucks around here. We're seeing some does too. Only seen one baby so far, back behind the house. No twins yet. We had two sets that we saw regularly last year.

i saw a doe on our hood the other day. Took a doe out in Oct 07 and did $1500 damage to my truck. It wouldn't have been so bad but she spun off the front end and tagged my drivers side door. I t-boned her square too. Somehow she missed the grill but I did get a new bumper out of it. Back on subject, I've been seeing a lot of does lately. Not 1 buck yet.

Chase helped me put together a video to post of the backyard buck. Thanks, Chase...and Catfish Sam and Booey for doing the intro. Camera's a little shaky, but give me a break. Didn't have time to grab the tripod. Oh, and we do have a set of twins again this year. They were in the road in front of our house when we came home from camping last week.
