It was a shocker to me. I threw a 2 peices of corn out trying to see if a bluegill would come up and eat it. Then I decided to start giving it a bit of a twich action and as i was facinated by the action that the corn was presenting this bass comes out and swallows the corn. It was amazing to see a bass attck a lure or bait like that. I will probably never forget this bass.

the action of the lure was probably what got him to strike. with most bass having just finished the spawn, they are very hungry and are more likely to eat different things.

I think the action of the corn did the job too and maybe the colroring.
