we tried beaver dam with only like 3 keepers then we tried crystal moss midland as well with more keepers. Then on the way out we stoped at a private pond my friend owns and caught 1 7 lb bass.

no. on a good day if i go out to our local lake (boggs lake) i'll catch about 10-15 keepers. but that is from sunrise to sunset

Three keepers isn't bad for Hillenbrand; it seems every pit is FULL of dinks. I'd like to get down to 'Bogg's for a little camping/fishing this year.

you should give it a try troy. Also the best spot in my opinion to fish for bass, you dont even need to enter the park. Just go down saint marys road then hang a right and goes over the first cause way and keep going strait until u hit the gravel causeway. Then right in the middle of that just fish off the concrete thing and you'll probably catch bunches of nice 5lb bass. I almost always do.

idk i've always had good luck fishing up there maybe you just need to try to jig the bait a little differently
