Had a great time with Drop ‘Em Down Fishing today! Started our day just before noon at the end of high tide. Started at the end of the jetty using live shrimp. Perfect weather conditions; low winds and mid 70’s. Didn’t take long and I hooked into a monster. Unfortunately we think it was a monster ray and I couldn’t pull it off the bottom. Gave it a good go but eventually the line broke from being drug over the jetty rocks. We made a run just off shore and fished some buoys. Caught several weakfish and a few keepers. Also caught several other species including the biggest croaker Captain Eric had ever had in the boat, blue fish, mangrove snapper, Black Sea bass, and more that I’ll remember later. lol We went back to the jetties and Gail latched into her monster! I’ll have to check the video to see how long it took to get in but I’m guessing 20 minutes or more. What a beautiful fish! I hooked up with a monster but it made a beeline for the rocks and broke me off. 😡 I’ll let the video eventually tell the whole story. We’re tired but ready to get out there again! 😂

That's a dandy red. Pretty good spread of species as well.
