Caught this guy at our pond on bread. Fought for close to a half an hour! It's the biggetst fish I've caught so far. He weighed 23 pounds!  |

Very nice fish! How were you fishing, what bait, and what rig? lol sounds like a lot of questions I know but ive been fishing for carp the past month or so and i still havent caught one. Just trying to see what you get them on.

Just trying to see what you get them on. All I used was a hook and bread. I was fishing for catfish on light tackle. |

ok i see. all the sites i see have like complicated rigs because of carps wariness. There are some huge carp in this river 15 minutes from me but i havent been able to catch any of them. ive never caught a carp in my life actually lol

I just caught my first carp today. Pulled in my entire pole and lost it in the water. Got another pole put huge weight on it and managed to hook one of the holes in the pole and finish the fight. Ill be posting a picture of the carp soon. BUt its not as big as Chase's
