Spent my 1 day off mulching around the black berry plants and fruit trees. Some of the trees have already bloomed.

Went to Dinkyโs the Amish auction this evening. I was just looking for some birds for Daffy but there was a lot of 3 pigs that no one bid on I so I threw my hands up for $5. So now Iโm the owner of the 3 little pigs! ๐ I did pick up 20 half grown cortunix quail for $1.75 each also. Hog roast anyone?

Everybody survived the night! The pigs and birds both seem happy in their new surroundings.

The Dinkys/pig/quail video is coming out tomorrow @ 11:00am. I ask viewers to respond with what kind of pigs they are. I'm thinking pot belly mixes? They have the upright ears, straight tails, and sway backs. I'm thinking about cleaning one and see how they taste next week.

I'm pretty sure those are american guinea hogs. They grow slow and don't get as big as a typical pig but the meat will be really good. I think you made a good score here in my opinion.
