I got out last night for a few hours and it was well worth the trip. I had a hold of 3 muskies and was able to boat one. The second musky that hit was on a top water bait and looked to be better than 50" and heavy. Unfortunately she jumped and through the bait back at me. I was able to land this 41", who had a nasty attitude. It was a great time on the water!!! But...what isn't..

Dang! Are you the musky king or what?! I thought these were the fish of a thousand casts? You must have the secret to those monsters. Is that your boat? Looks like a sweet ride!

actually its 10000 casts.. I have a pattern that can work if the weather and conditions are right..Bass Lake down in Dugger is a hard lake to figure out..it can be red hot and then shut down for weeks..Time is better then any tackle or technique..If you put time on the water you will catch them..Of course a string of luck ain't bad either.. That's my buddies boat..I sold my boat about 2 years ago..STUPID thing to do..I looked at another today..I was wanting something a little bigger and had a buyer for my old Lund and sold it while had someone interested..I have owned a boat since before I could drive..this is the longest I have gone boatless..SUCKS!! Its a good market to buy now..I looked at a 18' Lund Fisherman..150hp honda and a 15hp honda kicker..with all the electronics..Great deal and would do everything I need...
