Monty was mowing yesterday and found a couple in his yard in Vigo County and Dad was walking at Shakamak this morning and found a couple along the road. These were the "white" or small yellows. From Monty's yard...

I didn't take a picture but I found one nice yellow while walking to a fishing spot in Parke County. Its a mixed bag this year from what people have told me they are finding.

Monty found a few more yesterday....he's killing me! I talked to 4 avid mushrooms hunters yesterday and none are having much luck yet.

The rain today should help a bunch. I'm hoping to make it out next weekend, but that might be wishful thinking.

Took a wet walk through our woods this evening and found a few small yellows and 1 black. Not sure what this cool weather will do to them this week? Snacking on them as I type...

The ground temps are high enough that we should be good. It might even stretch out another week for us at the end of the season.
