I'll let Monty or Sam fill in the details, but it sounds like they had a great morning of fishing! Nice sheepshead! Speckled trout Now that's a mess of fish!

Nice! Bet that was fun. Just booked a rental in Louisiana. Hoping to catch a cooler full when I'm done there.

Wow, what a day of fishing! Booked an inshore trip with Capt. Mike Peek in Orange Beach, AL. Can't say enough good things about Mike. Great guy and the dude knows his stuff. Started out off some rock points for sheepshead. Think we could've filled the boat if we wanted to, but it was pretty crowded, so after about an hour and half or so we were ready for something different. Mike tried to locate us some redfish, but when he didn't see anything we headed out in pursuit of speckled sea trout. And boy did he deliver! Didn't take long at all for Sam to tie in to one. His first I think was the biggest in the pics. In the same spot Sam caught 2 flounder, one keeper size, and we both caught a black snapper. If any of you guys are ever in the Gulf Shores area, I would definitely recommend this trip. A guy I met from gulfshorepierfishing.com forum gave me Mike's name and I'm glad he did. Didn't see anyone else with the amount or variety of fish we had. Awesome day of fishing!

Looks like a blast! Only been saltwater fishing once but I loved it as much as freshwater. I love the potential variety of fish down there. I'm hoping I can tangle with a blacktip shark next time.
