Sucks to hear about the bug and ice, Greenedog.
I think I'll head out tomorrow afternoon and scout out Monroe and Lawrence County. I'll report back what I find.

Found 5-6" of good ice under a couple inches of gray ice. Just hit one pond and caught dinks. Need a fishin buddy for tomorrow. Anyone going out?

According one of the local ICO FB pages, Shakamak has between six and ten inches of ice.

Hiked out to small lake in the national forest yesterday. Caught one dink. .5+ mile round trip trudging through the woods. I am beat today. I think I'm done with ice fishing this year. Time to gear up the kayak.

Man, I don't think I could have made it in all this snow! I was hoping to get out tomorrow, but now I'm working so I give up. Bring on SPRING!
