Well started out this morning for some bass on conventional tackle, that effort failed! I took my fly rod out earlier than I planned and caught my only 2 fish of the day on a bass bug. Headed over to the EEl and the wabash river and got the skunk. Last few days its been bad fishing for me anyway. I see allot of other slow reports as well. Its that wind from the east again with the bright sunshine! oh well thats why they call it fishing, least I got a couple.

Are those bass fun to catch on a fly rod?
What kind of fly rod do you have?

Are those bass fun to catch on a fly rod? What kind of fly rod do you have? Yes they are. But there fun on any tackle. I am using a pretty lite set up. 5 wt quarrow with 5wt floating weight forward line. 6lb leader. If you use this lite of a set up make sure you use a reel with a good drag and at least 20lb backing. Also don't use his set up around to many weeds or you will be sorry.
