Certified over 92 pounds by the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries, out of Guntersville Reservoir. Here it is with the young man who shot it. Crazy! I didn't even know they could get that big.

I'm wondering if the warmer climate has something to do with the color?

I'm wondering if the warmer climate has something to do with the color? I don't think so, here's one from Nebraska that has some of the same coloring... Those bigheads have a lot more color than the "silver/flying" carp. I've seen them almost black and even some that look red. BTW, I saw on the noon news yesterday that the Hutsonville Riverfest is having the "1st Annual Asian Carp Bash on the Wabash" on August 4th. I tried to find out more details on it, but all I could find was a couple phone numbers and that registration is $15 per team.
