I'll be getting a replicate mount for this monster!!! little over 10lbs. Caught in Indiana and is released back in my pond. This fish cannot count for a county record it is artificial feed pond. Trust me I already talk to a DNR!!!

Johnson county caught her on a Gary Yamamoto Big Senko. With a 7/0 Mustad hook. I've have a bass in my pond right now that will beat the state record. My father and I bought a pond 3 years ago that we new that can produce big bass. We do a shad regimen every month in our pond from a local hatchery. Also protein pellets just before winter to keep them healthy during the winter months. We make sure the pond is 2/1 ratio to female to male bass. This is done on a 3 acre pond perfect size to produce a bunch of big bass.

Awesome! Sounds like you and your dad have really done your homework. My nephew from Alabama was up here this spring and he was telling me that a lot of folks down there stock shad in their ponds for the bass. I had never heard of anyone from around here doing it, until now. Oh, btw, it may not be eligible for a record, but it would be eligible for the BB&B "Fish of the Year!"
