I was finally hanging up Chase's and mine's turkey fans from last spring and decided to do something a little different. For mine, I had dried the legs with one grasping the shell that dropped it and the other one flipping the bird. I then screwed them to an old camo hat and attached the beard... Right now the fan is just nailed to the wall with the hat hanging on the nail, but I'll probably trim up the back skin to fit in the hat and then attach the fan to the hat also. For Chase's, I simply covered the area where the fan was attached to the bird with a turtle shell and hung the beard from the inside of the shell... Chase said he might paint the shell and add the feet as well. The wall...

Here's a buddy of mines bird from this spring... I had planned on doing something like this years ago and told him about it. I think it turned out pretty good. I was going to hang mine upside down and have even bought a painted taxidermy head to use with it.
