I have a fishing trip planned for this weekend for some flatties on the Big Walnut. I know the typical way to go about fishing for them but a little lost in this drought. All we've been catching are blues and channels, not that is a problem but would like to catch some flatheads. I'm gona go catch some small bluegill today and put them in a livewell until satuday. Does anyone have any "drought tips" for flatties? Any and all help is appreciated. And I will take pictures this time.

Let me know when your goin, I might meet ya down there. I haven't hardly been at all this year, and have been wanting to get my feet in the walnut since last time we went.

Not much walnut left. Found a deep hole while kayaking. I'll hit you up though. It's an all nighter.
