At least one buck survived the deer seasons around us.

We spotted this one across the road from our house this evening. I was surprised to see antlers this late. We've been shed hunting for a couple weeks now. Maybe this is why we haven't found any yet?

I was thinking about doin' a little shed huntin' tomorrow myself. Maybe I'll give it another week or two. I did see a small half rack a few days ago.

He's not real tall but when he turns you can tell he's really wide. I'm already lookin forward to next deer season! I hope we can find that bucks sheds.

daybreak: Always loved Labor Day weekend. Time for those jet skis and speed boats to go back in storage and make room on the lakes for us fishermen again. (:))
