Is that Swiss K31 a good shooter? Everytime I see one for sale I tell myself I should buy it but never do. I think it's just for the fact I have no experience with them.

The K31 is definitely a good shooter. It has some pretty stiff recoil though. The straight pull bolt is really slick. I keep meaning to get some aperture sights for it, but never got around to it.
How much are they going for nowadays? I got mine about 3 years ago for $300.

Nice guns. I particularly like the AR and the Turkey Thug.. Ive alway been more of a Winchester or Remington fan but thats a pretty good looking gun. What kinda choke you using for your turkey gun?

Thanks CountryHunter. Its just the choke that came with the gun. Its called the x-factor ported tube. It throws dense patterns at 40 yards which is the farthest distance I have patterned it at.

I've seen some for as low as $200 but I've also seen them go as high as $500.

I would definitely grab one for $200 if I ever saw one for that price. Depending on condition of course. The beautiful thing about K31's is that every adult male in Switzerland are issued one and go thru training with one, but most don't shoot them outside of that. Mine was in amazing condition when I got it. Most of them also have the name and address of the person the rifle was issued to underneath the butt plate on a small piece of paper. I have heard of people writing letters to the original owners. Unfortunately, mine did not have one of the papers.

I'm of Swiss origin so it just makes sense for me to have one.
