How did u cross over from tape to ur pc to edit? where and how much would that other part cost me. It connects right to the PC with a wire DV (i.LINK) IEEE-1394 connector. I have no idea about the other part or if they're even available anymore.

So if u got time fill me in on how u upload it to ur pc from the tape ? and whats the rock bottom $ I've had a few cameras that you connect with either the "firewire(IEEE-1394)" or USB. All I did was while using whatever video editor I'm using at the time, click on either "capture video" or "import video from digital camera" or something like that, and then whatever is playing on the camera will appear on the screen and be saved into my project. With the firewire you can actually control the camera from the PC. I'm not in a big rush to sell the camera right now because it's the only working miniDV camera I have and I really need to go through my old tapes and see if there's any videos I could make. I know there's some "Fatboy Dan deer scouting" footage that's never been seen. If someone was to offer $350, I probably wouldn't turn it down though.
