Unintentionally yes. We used roadkill deer for bald eagles at my work and the coyotes ate it before the eagles got to it.

hey Brad, if you can, pick up the February issue of Outdoor Life. There is a great article in there about how to successfully bait coyotes. Its their annual predator hunting issue so there is a ton of great info in it.

Brad, the last time I was at gander mtn, they had a "gut pile" bag for sale to bait predators. Not sure how it does but it might be worth a shot if you don't have anything else

ya i keep squirrel guts as bait and wildgame inovations makes gut pile bags u can get them online

thanx guys...the febuary issue of outdoor life is what made me want to do it....i also have a squirrel skin i attempted to tan and it stinks terribly... i will be savin scaraps for baitcicles this week and on so i will tell you how i do, OL says to reduce the amount of bait so the coyotes will try and beat other coyotes there...also may try to get some leftover deer bodies and maybe calfs(hopfully i cant find any though)
