I got up this morning to do a little fishing but didn't like that north easterly wind, so I went down to the hay field to try a stand. There's more yote tracks in the field than deer tracks, but no luck again. I did see a few deer across the road.

Troy, not sure where you would get one, but I read in Field and Stream that if you are in an area with a few homes, a housecat in distress call works wonders. Theres probably a website that would have one to download.

How do you download the audio from that site? that might be a dumb question tho Right click and save as. Then you have to sort it out with what music program you have. I used my Droid phone since it doubles as my mp3 for my homemade caller. It works pretty good.

well this weekend was awesome for coyotes for us alto we didnt kill any we had a blast on our first night hunt..friday me and a buddy were stayin out at his cabin and we were bore sighting our guns and my step dad came over too help it was around 11 at night and he brought his new e caller and he tried a could howls and all of a sudden the woods lit up with howls and yeps so we turned in the spot light and we counted 9 yotes! about 300 yard away! so then we kept it up and then we heard walkin in the snow and we turned on the spot light and it was a fox 10 yards away!! so it took off and the other yotes were gunshy and wouldnt work to the call so we called it a night..so sunday mornng we went out and gave them a few locater howls.. the whole river bottom lit up with yeps andd howls again so we put out the mojo critter and then a yote came in about 70 yards and saw us walking in so it took so we got set up and gave it two more howls and here came a pair of yotes 15 yard its still to dark to see through the scope so dad pulled up with the shotgun and miss! but it was a awesome weekend we probly saw 15 to 20 yotes! we will be after them next weekend!!!!
