Good luck guys. tomorrow im going to dover hill for the whole day then i have to get up at 12am sunday and be at crane ready to go by 1:30 am. thats the only bad part about gun hunting up there.

This morning at 8:30, i saw the biggest buck i have ever seen on our farm, chasing a doe. Wasn't running my direction though. I was trying to stay out all day, but around noon, the wind started picking up and it started pouring rain and has been all day and nothing was moving because of it.

put a over 1 mile stalk on a buck and a doe and got in range of the buck, but he was between me and someone esle. spoooked a few does in the process too. started walking back towards the farm and this sucker comes runnin out of the woods right at me at 5 yds with his head down!!stopped and ran away but i didnt get a chance to shoot. the guy i hunt with was settin up over there and he had just crawled into a blind and hadn't even sat down whenbucks cam running into the woods. the scope on his 44 was fogged up and tried to shoot ith the iron sights but missed. the buck i had chased was in the group and he looked t obe about a 120-125 class 9-10 point. i got setup after that and didn't see a thing. on the way out i took a 100yd hail mary with hardly iany light shot at a doe and missed.

Well opening day i to wabashiki to hunt as i get to my stand early as its one far walk back to my spot as you can only get to it by walking & not boat,as i sit and watch a deer/small buck in a feild behine me wich is by where serrie is hunting walking my way,i hear crunch in front of me i look, i look again here comes a buck walking in front of me hes now less then 20feet in front of me,i put my scope behine hes left leg BOOM hes hit he runs 7o feet to me left as i watch him stop & his feet wanting to give out on himas he drops. I look behine me nows there a small fork/4 pointer under me. He goes on never spook then leter on a doe comes in from my back left to my buck wich is down, im thinking on shooting her as i got my doe tag still,i pass due to a few trees,she goes on bout her walking,soon letter here comes a doe on the same trail i shot my back,scope on her she stops same spot a shot my buck,booom i fire she jumps to the left and stops & licks her side,but she never ran? theres more does behine here none are scared by the gun shot,she look hit, i get down afther big mike calles and said serrie got her a buck as well, i get down looking for blood from here nothing? i then go to my buck wich is down, WOW a 9 pointer, yes im happy real happy, i head over to serrie to help with her deer i look on drit road for blood from the doe where she cross no blood, well later on a friend fines a doe where my doe walk off to all rip apart from coyets. could have been mine?


Well i got me a 9pointer * serrie got a 7 pointer & hunter dog carrier just got a BIG TALL 9 pointer today the 23rd yes i mean big.

we have saw more bigger deer & i even had my i-70 buck wich i call him run by me wich a doe ran by,then 15feet bine was a big buck then behine that buck was the BIG wide I-70 BUCK BOTH WICH WAS CHASEING THATY DOE.

big mike has finaly saw the wide wide buck ive saw down there as well.

Good hunting ,you just got to know the land and where the deer well be.
